Shooting

We offer various shooting options for both competition and fun. Just because you might not be a great shooter, don't hesitate to give our ranges a try. We especially encourage women to come out and try the sport. Who knows, you might just get hooked.

Sporting Clays

We have a large number of stations spread around beautiful terrain that includes forest, valley, field and river layouts.

The active course is changed every two weeks to keep things interesting.

One round usually consists of moving between 9 or 10 stations for a total of 50 clay targets. The course is open to the public. There is a 13 week period in the summer for Sporting Clay shooting.

Cost

The cost for one round of Sporting Clays ( 50 targets ) is $18.00. Under 18 is $10.00.

Summer Shooting - 2012

This summer the Sporting Clays range opens on Tuesday May 29th and runs until Thursday August 23rd.

Hours

First two weeks --- Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday --- 4:00 p.m. to Dusk.

After first two weeks --- Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday --- Noon to Dusk.

Winter Shooting - 2012

There will be no Sporting Clay shooting this winter

Skeet

In skeet you shoot 25 clay targets that are being launched from traps in two locations or houses. They are called the High House and the Low House. The targets are launched in a consistent fashion each time. This may sound easy but every few shots you have to move between platforms that are arranged in an arch pattern.

This a great exercise to improve your skills in leading crossing targets properly. You might want to shoot a round of skeet before you hit the Sporting Clay course.

Cost

The cost for one round of Skeet ( 25 targets ) is $6.50.

Winter Shooting - 2012

This winter the Skeet range will be open every Saturday and Sunday starting January 7th and runs until Sunday March 25th.

Hours

We will be open 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..

There is a Skeet league that shoots on Mondays. Look at the Leagues page for more information.

Open shooting is available for those not participating in leagues.

5-Stand

Now this is fun! In a short amount of time you can see many different presentations like Teals, Crossing Shots, Outgoing Shots, Overheads and more.

You shoot a total of 25 shots while you move between 5 stations that are located close to each other.

Cost

The cost for one round of 5-Stand ( 25 targets ) is $7.00.
