Hunting

We offer great hunting opportunities for both Pheasants and Mallards. This year the season will start on September 20th. Book your reservation and pre-pay for your birds by September 1st and receive a discount.

All hunting is by reservation only. We are available for hunts seven days a week. Starting times are 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Pheasants

Pre-Paid price: $18.00 per bird.

Non Pre-Paid price: $20.00 per bird.

Processed birds are available for an additional $2.50 per bird. (Cleaning Fee)

Pheasant Minimums

There is a 10 bird minimum per hunt on weekday mornings.

There is a 20 bird minimum per weekday afternoon or weekend hunt.

NOTE: Blaze orange is mandatory on pheasant hunts.

Mallards

Pre-Paid price: $18.00 per bird.

Non Pre-Paid price: $20.00 per bird.

Processed birds are available for an additional $3.00 per bird. (Cleaning Fee)

NOTE: Steel shot is mandatory for Mallards.

Guides and Dogs

For safety reasons, guides are mandatory on each hunt.

Guide cost: $40.00

Guide & Preserve Dog cost: $70.00

General Rules and Guidelines

- No license required

- There is a maximum of 5 guns per field. We have found that 4 guns per field seems to be ideal and what we prefer.

- If you cancel a hunting date, you MUST call before 6:00 a.m. the day of the scheduled hunt or the birds will be charged against your account.

- Should we get early winter snow, making it difficult to hunt, the owner of the preserve will be the sole factor in deciding when we will close for the season. Any birds not shot by that time will be processed, and the cost paid by the client.
